Barack Obama is on track to raise more than 50M this month, if outside projections and outside advisers to the campaign are correct.
According to my initial projections off this crowdsourced spreadsheet of Obama donations I set up after the Wisconsin victory, Obama has already raised at least $45 million for February and is on track to raise $60 million for the month.
More evidence that a small donor base, with the ability to give repeatedly, is the prime fund-raising strategy – provided that the candidate can generate enough enthusiasm.
And the overwhelming generosity can sometimes lead to messages like this.
