The Obama campaign has raised nearly $7.6 million over the last two days, sending out a fund-raising email calling upon supporters to match Hillary’s self loan. The pitch emphasizes Hillary and Bill giving to “their” campaign, striking upon the two vs. one, co-presidency theme. For the record, Hillary emphasized that the loan came from her personal funds.
However, the cash crunch spurring the loan has disappeared. The Clinton campaign, according to Terry McAuliffe, has raised $6 million online over the last 24 hours, leading to a total of $7.5 million for the month. Senior staff, such as campaign manager Patti Solis Doyle, are also receiving a paycheck again. With the newfound wealth, the campaign is going up on the air, broadcasting television ads in the coming contests.
