First Quarter Fundraising in Early Primary States

All of the following figures are obtained using only contributions of $200 or more due to FEC reporting rules. This methodology is more unfair towards candidates like Barack Obama with a large part of their first quarter haul derived from contributions of less than $100.

Iowa:

South Carolina

Democrats: 1. John Edwards, $186,109 2. Hillary Clinton, $36, 100 3. Barack Obama, $31, 807

Republicans: 1. Mitt Romney, $167,925 2. John McCain $122,565 3. Rudy Giuliani, $116,550

Nevada

Democrats: 1. Hillary Clinton, $317,000 2.Barack Obama, $63,528 3. John Edwards, $45,500
